KIDS FOR KIDS is bringing long term help to villagers - despite the conflict. Our help is transforming children's lives which have been devastated because of the conflict. Our self help projects bring immediate benefit to families and strengthen whole communities - enabling people to stay in their homes. Children need our help especially this year following the severe drought in recent months. They are at risk from chest infections, particularly in the next few winter months in Darfur. Please support TOPS FOR TODDLERS - we are providing warm jumpers for 3 & 5 year olds in the most impoverished families - and teaching their mothers to knit. It has never been more important to enable families to help themselves. There is life beyond the camps - but KIDS FOR KIDS is virtually the only organisation helping children who are living lives of inconceivable - and inexcusable - hardship. We don't believe in charity - we believe in giving people the dignity and ability to help themselves.
We achieve so much by keeping administration as low as possible - so that you really know how your help is making a difference to children - and how your donations are used! By introducing integrated projects - small perhaps to us but an impossible dream to a mother in Darfur - a goat loan, training a village midwife, providing a donkey, teaching a family better farming techniques, giving a mother a blanket for her baby, and, above all helping to provide clean water - KIDS FOR KIDS transforms a village and people can go home.  KIDS FOR KIDS is committed to funding a minimum of 150,000, for each of the next three years, to help families stay in their villages. Many families which were already facing great hardship, are hosting people made homeless because of the conflict. CAPITAL INTERNATIONAL is the first to help these families.
