Khartoum News
Trustees of Kids for Kids were in Khartoum recently to discuss future plans for providing help for villagers in Darfur. Drought is already causing hardship to families and to help before it is too late Kids for Kids is calling for Proposals from local organisations to help villages withstand the coming months. Kids for Kids is aiming to support an even greater number of people through their wide spectrum of projects, which include water, healthcare for humans and animals, goat and donkey loans, and much more - and environmental projects which enable villages to plant community forests with drought resistant trees that are of benefit to humans..

Dr Rosalind Marsden CMG, Ambassador to Sudan, not only hosted the Trustees of Kids for Kids during their visit but enabled them to make a flying visit to an hitherto unknown fort in the Western Desert. "It was a rare treat to have a few hours to discover a little more of the history of Sudan" said Patricia whose time in Sudan is normally a relentless round of meetings!
