Your presence at our concert will truly save lives! \nThe evening will feature the beautiful voices of the Junior and Senior Choirs of Queen’s Gate School singing your favourite Christmas Carols to get you in the holiday spirit!  We are delighted to welcome British Opera Soprano Bibi Heal\, accompanied by famous conductor/pianist Stephen Barlow along with renowned Irish Harpist Lesley Magee and world-class pianist Mitra Alice Tham. You will hear festive readings from our dear Patron\, The Lord Cope of Berkeley PC\, and the absolutely fabulous\, Dame Joanna Lumley DBE FRGS. And of course what would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?! Thames Fanfare Brass will once again raise the roof and entertain us with Christmas classics. Hundreds of candles will fill the Church as we close the evening and head out to the cozy courtyard to enjoy Mulled Wine and Mince Pies (included in your ticket!). \nWe look forward to seeing you for the most magical start to the Festive Season!  By attending the Kids for Kids Candlelit Christmas Concert with your family and friends you are helping transform the lives of children in remote villages of Darfur living in conditions of shocking deprivation. Clean water is not available – families drink surface water until it dries\, when they then have to walk miles to find a handpump. There is virtually no health care\, limited education\, and now children face starvation in what the UN says is the ‘worst humanitarian crisis in the world today’\, yet it is not in the news and no other organisation is helping. DESCRIPTION:Join David Suchet\, Julie Etchingham\, Richard Wilson and The Lord Cope at our magical Candlelit Christmas Concert at St Peter’s Church\, Eaton Square\, generously sponsored by Cadogan Tate\,  for an evening of Carols\, Candlelight and Celebrity Readings.  The fabulous choirs of Queen’s Gate School and the thrilling sound of The Thames Fanfare Brass will perform for us and Ruth Palmer will be making a special guest appearance.  This is the perfect way to start the festive season. \nDoors open at 6.30 pm and the concert will start at 7 pm. \nTickets – Adults £25 Children £15 minimum donation \nClick here to book today \n \nWe are particularly proud that this year’s concert is sponsored by Cadogan Tate who are international art logistic specialists.  “Cadogan Tate share our ideals” said Patricia Parker\, MBE\, “I am really looking forward to welcoming them to St Peter’s as our special guests.   This is a beautiful church.    We are being treated to the singing of one of the best children’s choirs I have heard outside Cathedrals\, and our Celebrity Readers are amongst our best loved actors in the country.”  \nCelebrity Readings by DAVID SUCHET CBE\, currently appearing in “The Importance of Being Ernest” on the West End stage\, RICHARD WILSON OBE\, beloved star of “One Foot in the Grave”\, LORD COPE PC\, Patron of Kids for Kids\, and hosted by JULIE ETCHINGHAM\, ITN News Anchor.   Celebrated violinist\, RUTH PALMER  will be making a Guest Appearance. \nThe fabulous choirs of Queen’s Gate School and the thrilling sound of The Thames Fanfare Brass will perform for us and of course we will all have a chance to sing our favourite Christmas Carols.  Mulled wine and mince pies will be served after the concert and there are specially reduced price tickets for children\, making this a festive family event not to be missed. \nPlease click here to donate online for your tickets and email us with your donation reference and details.  Please add gift aid if you can\, thank you. \nPlease include in your email: \n– your name \n– donation amount & online donation reference \n– how many adult / child tickets you require \n– your address so we can send you your tickets. \n– please will you add £1.00 for P/P \nThank you!
