SUMMARY:2025 Fly Fishing for Emergency Funds!
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Kids for Kids’ Executive Fly Fishing Day 2025 will take place at Park Lake\, Albury on Saturday 11th October. Tickets are now on sale! \nThe Duke of Northumberland’s private lake will be stocked with trout and if you have never tasted trout straight from the water to your plate then you have no idea how delicious it is.   Of course\, you will have to catch it first – but we will provide people to help you! This very special\, secluded lake provides the perfect day out for the family\, a chance to hang with the lads by the lake\, or a fun way to entertain your out of town clients\, showing them the beauty of Guildford!  Delicious refreshments will be provided throughout the day from homemade cakes to lunch with wine and beer. We look forward to welcoming you all – beginners and experienced fisherman alike! \nThis Fly Fishing Day is one of the most special Fishing opportunities you can be part of because every penny raised in profit will help Kids for Kids provide basic essentials to children in Darfur who are in desperate need. The violence over the past 21 months has been far worse than anything we have experienced over the years. Darfur continues to face bitter conflict and the indirect effects of violence are almost worse – disease and starvation. Hunger in this century. We are providing sacks of seed for planting and Kids Kitchen Kits for families with small children which include pulses\, lentils\, powdered meat\, ground nuts and even fresh produce. Children have been deprived of protein for months. By attending our fishing day you will enable us to reach many more families. They really need you\, need us\, right now. \nBy joining us on our fishing day out this year\, you can help transform the lives of families in great need. Not to mention\, enjoy a magnificent day at Park Lake\, which is utterly beautiful – and ours for the day! \nYour Ticket Options: \nFull Day tickets  (9.30am to dusk) @ £150 each (min. donation)  to include breakfast\, morning coffee & home made cakes\,  lunch with wine and beer\, and finally afternoon tea (more home made cakes!).  All drinks available throughout. \nAM session only  (9.30 am to 12:30pm\, including lunch) @ £85 each (min. donation) to include breakfast\, morning coffee & home made cakes and lunch with wine and beer.  All drinks available throughout. \nPM session only (12.30 pm lunch ’til dusk) @ 85 each (min. donation) to include lunch with wine and beer\, and afternoon tea with home made cakes. All drinks available throughout. \n“It is nothing short of miraculous that Kids for Kids is actively helping families in Darfur. To date 4\,000 families with children aged five and under have received seeds to eat and to plant for crops – that is 24\,000 people we have helped so far. Yet we must think of the coming months\, not just of immediate needs. Please do put our Fly Fishing in your calendar and tell your friends – make a day of it! Your help in raising essential funds for food this year is invaluable. Thank you.” – Patricia Parker OBE Founder. \nN.B. Children (minimum age 10)  need to be accompanied by a fully paying adult.   Because of the limit of space on the banks children also have to be full price. The first fish you catch will be yours to keep! There will be a small charge for any additional fish you wish to take home. Sunglasses or glasses and brimmed hats or caps must be worn by everyone. Health and safety is our first concern but you are advised that you fish at your own risk. \nTo join us for our Fly Fishing Day this year\, please book your tickets here! \n  \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nCheck out our Fly Fishing Event over the years in the press: \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOnline coverage\n\n\nSurrey World\nVantagePoint\nEventBrite\nDarling Magazine\nGumtree\n\n\nWhere Can We Go \nReigate.UK Newsletter\nThe Best Of\nSurrey Live (2019)\nSurrey Live Video\nSurrey Live Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRadio and Print Coverage\n\n\nSurrey Hills Radio (2025)\nDiplomat Magazine (2019)\n Life Magazine – Surrey and Berkshire Editions (2019) \nBBC Radio Surrey (2025)\n\n\n\n  \nCancellation Policy: Please note we cannot give refunds for event tickets unless the event is cancelled by us. \nCover photograph by Darren Pepe\, Surrey Life.

SUMMARY:Fly Fishing for Emergency Funds!
DESCRIPTION:This year’s annual Kids for Kids’ Executive Fly Fishing Day will take place at Park Lake\, Albury on Saturday 12th October. Purchase your ticket now! \nEvery single pound profit will help us provide basic essentials to children who are in desperate need. The situation in Darfur has exacerbated an already dire situation where shortages across the country have led to many families struggling to feed their children. In Darfur\, conditions were already worse than we have ever known. Emergency funding is essential to help provide for thousands of families in desperate need of food\, water\, shelter and medical care. \nBy joining us on our fishing day out this year\, you can help transform the lives of families in great need. Not to mention\, enjoy a magnificent day at Park Lake\, which is utterly beautiful – and ours for the day! Out of the headlines\, millions of families are displaced in Sudan\, the Rapid Support Force is using fire as a means of weaponry\, whole villages are being burnt to the ground. Children are on the brink of starvation. The situation is absolutely heart-breaking\, and we are desperate for support so we can help families survive and re-build their lives as soon as it is safe to do so. An extra donations would really help us cover our costs and save more children’s lives – they are desperate for emergency food.“ – Patricia Parker OBE Founder. \nN.B.
