We look forward to seeing you there. \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nDame Joanna Lumley DBE FRGS invites you to join Kids for Kids at this year’s Magical Candlelit Christmas Concert in Belgravia\, London!  This event is the perfect start to the Christmas Season\, with every penny raised in profit providing emergency food and aid items to children in Darfur who face starvation because of the appalling violence that has been raging for over two years. Your presence at our concert will truly save lives! \nThe evening will feature the beautiful voices of the Junior and Senior Choirs of Queen’s Gate School singing your favourite Christmas Carols to get you in the holiday spirit!  We are delighted to welcome British Opera Soprano Bibi Heal\, accompanied by famous conductor/pianist Stephen Barlow along with renowned Irish Harpist Lesley Magee and world-class pianist Mitra Alice Tham. You will hear festive readings from our dear Patron\, The Lord Cope of Berkeley PC\, and the absolutely fabulous\, Dame Joanna Lumley DBE FRGS. And of course what would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?! Thames Fanfare Brass will once again raise the roof and entertain us with Christmas classics. Hundreds of candles will fill the Church as we close the evening and head out to the cozy courtyard to enjoy Mulled Wine and Mince Pies (included in your ticket!). \nWe look forward to seeing you for the most magical start to the Festive Season!  By attending the Kids for Kids Candlelit Christmas Concert with your family and friends you are helping transform the lives of children in remote villages of Darfur living in conditions of shocking deprivation. Clean water is not available – families drink surface water until it dries\, when they then have to walk miles to find a handpump. There is virtually no health care\, limited education\, and now children face starvation in what the UN says is the ‘worst humanitarian crisis in the world today’\, yet it is not in the news and no other organisation is helping. Children really need you\, need us\, right now. \nThe concert will begin at 7.00pm and will be followed by Mulled Wine & Mince Pies (included in your ticket). \nAdult tickets are £39.50 (min donation) and Child tickets (12 years and under) are £18 (minimum donation)!  The perfect way to start Christmas – Carols by Candlelight. \nBook your Tickets today for our Candlelit Christmas Concert on Thursday 4th December 2025 \nPlease email contact@kidsforkids.org.uk with any enquiries.\nDo read our report about the 2024 Concert to get excited for this year!! \nCancellation Policy: Please note we cannot give refunds for event tickets unless the event is cancelled by us. \nReach a Prestigious Audience by Sponsoring our Candlelit Christmas Concert!\nSponsorship opportunities include sponsoring the evening or having a stall at our event to connect with our wonderful audience just in time for Christmas! \nTaking out an advertisement in our Candlelit Christmas Concert Programme will not only enable Kids for Kids to help more children but\, because our Programme is far more than just a record of the night\, with messages from our Patrons\, interesting articles and editorial\, it is a valuable means to project your image as well. \nThe more costs we can cover\, the more funds raised will go directly to Darfur. We can tailor-make a sponsorship package exclusively for your organisation and would welcome the opportunity to organise this for you. In return for your support\, your company will be included in our Programme for the evening and on all publicity including our website and social media campaigns. \nFull details of sponsorship and advertising opportunities will be available shortly. \nPlease do email us for further details or to discuss sponsorship and advertising opportunities further.

SUMMARY:2025 Fly Fishing for Emergency Funds!
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Kids for Kids’ Executive Fly Fishing Day 2025 will take place at Park Lake\, Albury on Saturday 11th October. Tickets are now on sale! \nThe Duke of Northumberland’s private lake will be stocked with trout and if you have never tasted trout straight from the water to your plate then you have no idea how delicious it is.   Of course\, you will have to catch it first – but we will provide people to help you! This very special\, secluded lake provides the perfect day out for the family\, a chance to hang with the lads by the lake\, or a fun way to entertain your out of town clients\, showing them the beauty of Guildford!  Delicious refreshments will be provided throughout the day from homemade cakes to lunch with wine and beer. We look forward to welcoming you all – beginners and experienced fisherman alike! \nThis Fly Fishing Day is one of the most special Fishing opportunities you can be part of because every penny raised in profit will help Kids for Kids provide basic essentials to children in Darfur who are in desperate need. The violence over the past 21 months has been far worse than anything we have experienced over the years. Darfur continues to face bitter conflict and the indirect effects of violence are almost worse – disease and starvation. Hunger in this century. We are providing sacks of seed for planting and Kids Kitchen Kits for families with small children which include pulses\, lentils\, powdered meat\, ground nuts and even fresh produce. Children have been deprived of protein for months. By attending our fishing day you will enable us to reach many more families. They really need you\, need us\, right now. \nBy joining us on our fishing day out this year\, you can help transform the lives of families in great need. Not to mention\, enjoy a magnificent day at Park Lake\, which is utterly beautiful – and ours for the day! \nYour Ticket Options: \nFull Day tickets  (9.30am to dusk) @ £150 each (min. donation)  to include breakfast\, morning coffee & home made cakes\,  lunch with wine and beer\, and finally afternoon tea (more home made cakes!).  All drinks available throughout. \nAM session only  (9.30 am to 12:30pm\, including lunch) @ £85 each (min. donation) to include breakfast\, morning coffee & home made cakes and lunch with wine and beer.  All drinks available throughout. \nPM session only (12.30 pm lunch ’til dusk) @ 85 each (min. donation) to include lunch with wine and beer\, and afternoon tea with home made cakes. To date 4\,000 families with children aged five and under have received seeds to eat and to plant for crops – that is 24\,000 people we have helped so far. Yet we must think of the coming months\, not just of immediate needs. Please do put our Fly Fishing in your calendar and tell your friends – make a day of it! Your help in raising essential funds for food this year is invaluable. Thank you.” – Patricia Parker OBE Founder. \nN.B. Children (minimum age 10)  need to be accompanied by a fully paying adult.   Because of the limit of space on the banks children also have to be full price. The first fish you catch will be yours to keep! DESCRIPTION:Friends of Kids for Kids are invited to hear the latest news from Darfur from our Founder Patricia Parker MBE\, with the opportunity for questions afterwards\, at a Friends’ Event being held in Patricia’s home in Dorking on Saturday 11th August – Kids for Kids Friends Event Invitation. \nGuest of Honour will be Chris Trott\, the Foreign Office Special Representative for Sudan and South Sudan\, who has kindly agreed to bring us up to date with Government policy and the latest news from the region. \nOur Friends’ Event is a special occasion to hear exactly how we manage to work in one of the most inaccessible and deprived regions in the world\, and to ask as many questions as you would like.    Patricia says “In fact I have never heard of another charity being so open about all it does.   I am passionate about our supporters – and indeed anyone thinking of supporting us – knowing as much as possible about how we spend their donations.” \nWe hope you can join us for this special event to hear about our projects in Darfur and how we are changing children’s lives long term.   Our wonderful volunteers from our Surrey Group will be providing supper and as some people come from quite a distance do please come as near to 6.30p.m. as you can.   There will also be an opportunity this year to see (and perhaps buy) works of art by Patricia Parker and Robin Radclyffe which are in the Art Exhibition which is being held over the same weekend – please take a look at details for the weekend events here. \nPlease email patricia@kidsforkids.org.uk or call 07957206440 to confirm your free place.  Donations will of course be welcome\, but are not obligatory!   This is an event for you.
