Today marks 1,000 days of conflict in Sudan, and the crisis is worse than ever. For nearly three years, families have endured violence, hunger and loss. Children have grown up knowing nothing but fear. Mothers are watching their children weaken from hunger, with no food left to give them and no help in sight.
The world has moved on.
But the suffering has not stopped.
In remote villages of Darfur, families are facing starvation right now. Crops have failed. Clean water is scarce. These villages are cut off and at risk of being completely forgotten.
