Cheam School supporting Kids for Kids

Patricia Reports:  “Cheam School are putting on a big Christmas Fair tomorrow (25th November 2015) in aid of Kids for Kids. I visited them yesterday to bring them up to date with our news.  The children asked very perceptive questions about dirty water and how dangerous it is to drink, and about going to school . Teachers remembered me telling them I was hoping to build our first Kindergarten, and yesterday I was able to show them pictures of our fourth! ” Would you like to help make a difference with your school?  Get in touch if you would like some leaflets, a collecting tin, or even want to book a guest speaker! contact@kidsforkids.org.uk

John House Raise over £8,000 for Kids for Kids

John House Raise over £8,000 for Kids for Kids Bishop Thomas Grant School’s four houses, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will be working hard again this year to beat last year’s total charity collection of over £17,000. Each of the four houses also has its own individual charity, Kids for Kids being the chosen charity for John House under the leadership of Head of Geography Ms Wilson, and over the last four years John House has raised over £8,000 for Kids for Kids – a phenomenal achievement. To mark the exceptional contribution made by Bishop Thomas Grant’s John House to Kids for Kids, Deputy Headteacher Miss Murray arranged for the Chairman and founder of Kids for Kids Patricia Parker to speak at an assembly about the work of the charity in Darfur where poverty and malnourishment are still prevalent. A rather nice surprise greeted the students in the form of Patrick Doyle, former Bishop Thomas Grant student and now a successful businessman who is a Trustee of Kids for Kids in his spare time.
