What an extraordinary evening! The Kids for Kids 25th Birthday Masquerade took place on Saturday, 6th June at the Hyatt – The Churchill, with Lyse Doucet CM OBE in attendance. The event raised enough to provide vital support for vulnerable children and families facing hunger and hardship in Darfur, Sudan.
The evening brought together friends, supporters, and patrons united by a shared commitment to helping children who continue to suffer in one of the world’s most overlooked humanitarian crises. Every pound raised will help us provide life-changing support to families affected by conflict, drought and food insecurity.
A huge thank you goes to our generous sponsors and advertisers whose support helped make the evening such a success:
IDS, Todelli, Chapel Down, Liberty Wines, Bocketts Farm, Gordon’s School and Delamere Dairy.
We are also incredibly grateful to After Hours, who provided fantastic live music throughout the evening and kept guests entertained on the dance floor. A special thanks to Jermaine Chandra who took amazing photographs throughout the evening caputring precious moments from the evening.
One of the highlights of the night was our masquerade theme, with guests arriving in a wonderful array of creative and elegant masks. The winner of the Best Mask competition received a prize of two tickets to The Phantom of the Opera.
Our sincere thanks also go to everyone who generously donated prizes for both the silent and live auctions. The quality and variety of the prizes were exceptional and helped raise significant funds for our work in Darfur.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, bid in the auctions, bought raffle tickets, sponsored the event, or supported us in any way. Your kindness and generosity will have a direct impact on the lives of children and families in Darfur.
