In Darfur, donkeys are the 4×4 – essential for transport in this difficult desert terrain with no real roads. Crossbred donkeys are stronger and larger, and are perfect for pulling an ‘ambulance’ cart, a water cart, or even the kindergarten school bus. We provide one each for our Midwives and Paravets too, so they can reach patients quickly.
