You made double to difference!

Last month Dame Joanna Lumley and some very special friends kindly pledged to double any donations we received in December – up to £34,500.

The figures are in! Not only have we reached our target but you exceeded it…by a staggering additional £18,941.85!

At a time when the needs of children have never been more acute, together we have raised a total of £87,941.85 in December!

“Despite the appalling news that violence continues unabated, with even hospitals targeted, we are going to be able to give help to many more of our Kids for Kids’ villages. We have already started in our very first village, Um Ga’al, to support families who have moved there. They are being integrated into our Animal Loan Project in Um Ga’al and something that means a huge amount to me – Abdallah Salih, whom I met when he was only 10, is coordinating our projects for us there. He and his family were helped by Kids for Kids all those years ago and now it is his turn to help. Thank you every one of you who donated during December. It is hard to explain what this means.  Now we need to reach all our other Kids for Kids’ villages – everywhere where children are going hungry.”  Patricia Parker OBE.
