As Kids for Kids celebrates its 25th birthday next year, we are marking this special milestone with an exciting new chapter in our story. Our Founder and CEO, Patricia Parker OBE, who established the charity in 2001, will be stepping down from her role as Chief Executive, but will continue as Chairman of Trustees and Programme Director, overseeing and managing our vital projects in Darfur. We are now looking for a new CEO to lead Kids for Kids into the future.
This is a unique opportunity to join an award-winning charity and make a real and lasting difference to children and families facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
When Patricia first visited Darfur, she saw children living in conditions of extreme deprivation — and she knew something had to change. From that moment, she committed to doing everything possible to help families lift themselves out of poverty through simple, sustainable projects that work with the environment and local conditions.
Over the past 24 years, Kids for Kids has transformed the lives of over half a million people in North Darfur. We remain the only organisation providing both emergency aid and long-term sustainable support to remote villages, creating measurable change in one of the most inaccessible and challenging regions of the world.
Now, as we look ahead to the next 25 years, we are seeking a visionary and compassionate leader to build on Patricia’s extraordinary legacy and guide Kids for Kids into its next decade of impact.
If you believe in sustainable change, community empowerment, and hope, we would love to hear from you.
