1) What we collect
We ask you for the following information:
Your credit card information: If you use your credit card via Paypal to donate to us, buy something, or make a booking online, only Paypal sees your information and they are governed by current legislation. No names, contact details or any other information are stored on our website.
2) What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to accept your donations and help, provide you with our products, events and services, improve our service to you, and we may send you periodic updates via email or direct mail.
Our policy is to contact you so that you will be assured that donations are spent as intended and alert you to urgent need. We may on occasion contact you regarding an event in your localty. We would very much hope you will keep in touch and help us to spread awareness of the news from Darfur.

3) Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Although we use appropriate security measures once we have received your personal information, the transmission of information over the internet is never completely secure. We do our best to protect personal information, but we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to our website, so any transmission is at the user’s own risk. However, any payment card details (such as credit or debit cards) we receive on our website are passed securely to our payment processing provider according to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards.

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal details to send you further information about Kids for Kids, you may change your mind at any time by writing to us or emailing us.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A fee of £10 will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us or email.
Should you wish, at any time, to be removed from either our mailing list or emailing lists, please contact us and we will do all we can to immediately remove you from all our records. It is our policy to send news to our supporters to reassure them that all funds are used as donated. Additionally, we send occasional emails in between these mailings with news and event details. If you wish to opt out of either or both of these means of contacting you, please let us know. It is not our policy to contact anyone frequently, but should you require further information at any time, please do get in touch.
